In this week's FCC transactions, Verizon filed to acquire 4 AWS-1 licenses from Public Service Wireless covering Georgia and Alabama.  These licenses are indicated in the map below.  The acquisition includes all of Public Service Wireless' lower mid-band spectrum but Public Service still retains low band spectrum for roughly the same market area.  In the remaining transactions, T-Mobile submitted 6 new EBS lease applications.  Two of these leases are for spectrum in Kansas that they didn't previously control while the remaining new lease applications provide continued access to those EBS call signs in Kansas, Texas, and Iowa.

In this week's spectrum transactions there are 21 applications assigning CBRS PAL licenses to new companies.  The licenses affected are counties licenses in Kentucky, Idaho, and Iowa.  Polar Communications also filed to acquire 5 - 28GHz licenses from SRT Communications in Minnesota and North Dakota.  T-Mobile filed 9 new lease applications for licenses that they currently lease.  These new leases provide continued access to EBS spectrum in Minnesota, Alabama, Oklahoma, and Florida.

In this week's transactions, T-Mobile filed two assignment applications to acquire EBS spectrum in Texas and North Dakota.  Both of these licenses are new to T-Mobile.  The North Dakota license (James Town) was leased for a month and now is being converted to a purchase while the Texas license was not previously leased.  T-Mobile also re-leased an EBS license in southern Oregon from Oregon State University.  In the final 4 applications, American Wireless is re-leasing four EBS licenses in the southern Utah region (St George).

In this week's FCC transactions, Verizon file to acquire an AWS-1 license from Space Data Spectrum Holdings in Alaska.  American Wireless filed two new lease applications to lease back parts of spectrum licenses in Utah that they sold to T-Mobile recently.  One of these spectrum licenses is a BRS license that covers an entire Base Trading Area (BTA) with 13 individual channels.  American Wireless is leasing back 9 or these 13 channels.  Also in this week's transactions, ATNI filed to acquire a PCS license in New Mexico from AT&T.  The last transaction has Skybeam (a company associated with Rise Broadband) leasing an EBS call sign in Texas from Abilene Christian University.

This week there is only one spectrum transaction, a re-lease of an EBS license in Northern California, by T-Mobile.

In this week's FCC transactions T-Mobile filed two assignment transactions.  In these transactions T-Mobile is acquiring EBS spectrum in Alabama and Arizona.  T-Mobile previously leased both of these licenses.  T-Mobile also filed nine new lease applications.  All of these new lease applications are for EBS spectrum.  These leases provide T-Mobile continued access to spectrum in Colorado, Texas, Georgia, Washington, Maryland, and Louisiana.  One of these leases provides spectrum to T-Mobile in North Dakota which is new capacity for T-Mobile.  Finally, T-Mobile submitted a new sublease application for EBS spectrum controlled by Krisar, providing access to additional spectrum in Pennsylvania.  In other new lease applications, ATNI filed to lease AT&T's PCS spectrum in parts of Coconino, AZ.  SouthernLinc also filed a new lease application to lease two of T-Mobile's BRS licenses in Burke, GA .  The final applications have MT Networks subleasing 6 licenses from Sagebrush Cellular who was already leasing each of the licenses from AT&T.

In this week's spectrum transactions, T-Mobile filed to acquire 16 EBS and BRS call signs in North Dakota.  Each of these licenses is new to T-Mobile.  T-Mobile also filed 17 EBS re-lease applications for spectrum in South Dakota, Texas, California, Arizona, Kansas, Massachusetts, Oklahoma, and Florida.  Alaska Wireless (Liberty) also filed to lease 20 MHz of T-Mobile's 600MHz spectrum in four Alaskan PEA Markets.  The final transactions have not appeared on the FCC Daily Digest, but Geolinks announced yesterday that they were acquiring 208 LMDS licenses from Verizon.  Mobile services cannot be deployed on these licenses.  Verizon still retains 21 LMDS licenses

In this week's transactions T-Mobile filed to acquire an EBS license in California from Commonbond Foundation.  T-Mobile previously leased this license.  T-Mobile also filed nine re-leasing applications.  These applications cover EBS licenses in South Dakota, Texas, Indiana, New York and Tennessee.  There were five sub-lease applications filed.  Aeronet Wireless filed to sublease an EBS license in Puerto Rico from T-Mobile, while T-Mobile filed to sub-lease 3 licenses from Krisar for spectrum in New York and Pennsylvania, and for spectrum in Michigan from Casair Spectrum.  The final applications were re-lease applications filed by Rhino Communications and SoniqWave Networks.  Rhino and SoniqWave will both continue to have access to EBS licenses in Texas.

In this week's FCC Daily Digest, Verizon filed to acquire 2 cellular licenses and 3 PCS licenses from Triangle Communications in Montana.  This transaction noted that Verizon would be removing the LTE Huawei equipment that is in place as a part of the transition.  T-Mobile also filed two assignment applications for EBS spectrum in Illinois and Texas.  The Illinois spectrum is new to T-Mobile.  T-Mobile filed 11 new lease applications for spectrum that they currently lease.  This will continue to provide T-Mobile EBS spectrum in Florida, Georgia, and Louisanna.  The final application has SoniqWave re-leasing an EBS callsign from HITN in Virginia. 

In this week's FCC transactions, Verizon filed to acquire a PCS license in Idaho from Rural Telephone Company.  Consolidated Telcom also filed an application to acquire the 28GHz - L2 channel in Adams County, North Dakota from SRT Communications.  T-Mobile filed two assignment applications and eight new lease applications for EBS spectrum.  Their assignment applications provide continued access to spectrum in Florida and Pennsylvania while their new lease applications provide continued access to spectrum in Texas, Ohio, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Minnesota, New York, and Arkansas. Northern Plains Unmanned Aircraft Test Site filed new lease applications to receive access to the 7000MHz guardband channel from Access 700 for 42 North Dakota counties.  The last application is a sublease of spectrum in Washington that Inland Towers currently leases.  In this application, ExliptixNet Broadband receives access to this EBS spectrum license.

In this week's FCC transactions, T-Mobile filed 2 assignment applications to acquire EBS licenses in Texas and Kansas.  T-Mobile previously leased the Texas spectrum but the Kansas spectrum expands its spectrum resources.  SI Spectrum filed to acquire a PCS license in Kentucky from AT&T.   T-Mobile also submitted 3 new lease applications for EBS spectrum.  Two of these licenses provide spectrum in Hawaii and one provides spectrum in Texas.  T-Mobile previously leased each of these licenses.  Rhino Communications also submitted a new lease application for an EBS license in Nebraska that they previously leased.  The last new lease applications were filed by Wireless Etc. to re-lease 3 EBS call signs providing spectrum in Arkansas.  The final group of applications are new sublease applications.  In each of these applications, T-Mobile is subleasing spectrum they control to either Liberty (GCI) in Alaska or TPT SpeedConnect in Nebraska, South Dakota, and Idaho.

In this week's FCC spectrum transactions, BeamSpeed filed to acquire a EBS license from Shekinah Network in Arizona that they already leased.  T-Mobile filed to acquire 12 EBS licenses involving spectrum in Texas, Ohio, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Indiana, New Jersey, Florida, Wisconsin, Georgia, and New York.  T-Mobile previously leased each of these licenses.  T-Mobile also filed to acquire 6 PCS licenses that fill in some of the missing areas of the PCS A block spectrum in the Des Moines-Quad Cities area.  Strata Networks filed new lease applications to acquire 2 channels of 600MHz spectrum in 3 Wyoming counties and 3 Utah counties from Gold Spectrum.  The final transactions were new lease applications from T-Mobile.  Each of these applications is a re-lease where T-Mobile previously leased the spectrum.  With these applications T-Mobile retains access to these EBS channels in New York and New Jersey.

In this week's FCC transactions we see a series of assignments from Sirius XM Radio to acquire AT&T's WCS C and D channels.  These channels act as a guardband to AT&T's LTE service in the WCS A and B channels.  Below I have included an image of the WCS band plan.  All of these applications were filed back in September 2020 with a waiver prior to AT&T's initial service requirement on 4 of the 6 REAG licenses for the WCS C and D Blocks.  They had abandoned a LTE smart grid development project because of two different spectrum market actions.  The first was the availability of CBRS Spectrum that utilities could own, and the second was the reconfiguration of the 900MHz spectrum that PdvWireless (Anterix) significantly controls.  Since SirrusXM's applications to acquire this spectrum have shown up on public notice, I would imagine that the waiver is either approved or will be approved soon.  SirrusXM is proposing to expand their Satellite Radio service into the C and D blocks, coordinating with AT&T to not affect AT&T's LTE service in the A and B Blocks.  SirrusXM plans to offer a service to public safety organizations like FEMA and Homeland Security where WCS SiriusXM devices are placed in advance of emergencies to provide one-way communications to those received devices in cases where the communication infrastructure is significantly impacted.  No mention was made of whether any hardware or software changes would need to be completed on SiriusXM satellites to support wider operations into the WCS bands.

Beyond these WCS applications, T-Mobile filed an assignment application for an EBS license in Tennessee that they already lease and T-Mobile filed 11 new re-lease applications for EBS licenses in Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, and Arkansas.  Rhino Communications also re-leased an EBS license in Texas.  The final application is a new lease of 700MHz spectrum from ATNI to Nevada Gold Mines directly covering their mining operation.

In this week's FCC transactions T-Mobile filed 3 assignment applications to acquire EBS licenses in Minnesota, North Carolina, and Idaho.  T-Mobile  previously leased each of these licenses.  Oceus Networks filed to lease the BRS1 channel from T-Mobile for two counties in Arizona.  Soniqwave Networks also filed to lease an EBS license in Arizona.  T-Mobile also filed to re-lease two EBS licenses in Georgia and Louisiana.  The remaining transactions involve USCellular leasing 43 complete AWS-3 licenses from Advantage Spectrum along with 2 partial AWS-3 licenses.

In this week's FCC transactions, T-Mobile filed to acquire one of the BRS BTA licenses that they don't currently control from North Dakota Network.  This license includes all 13 BRS channels over the entire Minot, ND BTA.  AT&T also filed an assignment application to access 3 PCS licenses owned by C Spire in Arkansas and Tennessee.   In the new lease applications for smaller carriers, Aeronet Wireless re-leased an EBS license in Puerto Rico and White Cloud Communications re-leased an EBS license in Kentucky.  SoniqWave submitted 8 new lease applications where they are accessing EBS licenses that were previously leased to Spectrum Holdings.  These licenses are primarily in the south including license areas in Georgia, Alabama, and Florida.  T-Mobile submitted 12 new re-leasing applications providing them with continued access to EBS spectrum in Alabama, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Tennessee, Oregon, Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.
